Mitral Valve 2: Mitral Regurgitation

Mitral regurgitation MR is present, to some degree, in as many as 80% of individuals. This course reviews classification and quantification of MR, covers ischemic vs. functional MR and degenerative vs. rheumatic valves.

In this course, you will learn:

• Mitral regurgitation

• Ischemic and functional MR
• Myxomatous (degenerative) vs. rheumatic valves
• Quantifying MR
• Surgical approach to MR

Method and medium:
