The Physics Of Ultrasound 3: Transducer Mechanics
This course introduces you to the physical principles of transducer mechanics that underlie the acquisition and processing of ultrasonic waves for the production and interpretation of meaningful images.
In this course, you will learn:
- How transducers and piezoelectrics work
- Creating and focusing an ultrasound beam
- Harmonic imaging and signal processing
- Maximizing frame rate
Method and medium:
Learners participate in the interactive learning modules by correctly answering multiple choice questions dispersed throughout. Learners will be prompted to try again if a question is answered incorrectly.
The course will open in a new tab – to exit the course, simply close that tab.
