Left Ventricular Function & Geometry 3: Future Approaches

Left Ventricular Function & Geometry 3: Future Approaches image

The purpose of this Left Ventricular Function and Geometry series is to assist the reader in measuring both volumetric and pressure-based metrics of left ventricular performance as well as quantifying relevant structural characteristics of the LV. This particular course highlights using strain and strain rate and speckle tracking measurements for LV assessment, as well as ventricular wall stress measurements.

In this course, you will learn:

  • Using strain and strain rate measurements for LV assessment
  • Using speckle tracking measurements for LV assessment
  • Ventricular wall stress measurements

Method and medium:

Learners participate in the interactive learning modules by correctly answering multiple choice questions dispersed throughout. Learners will be prompted to try again if a question is answered incorrectly.

The course will open in a new tab – to exit the course, simply close that tab.
