Aortic Stenosis image

This lecture covers the large and complex topic of aortic stenosis. In this lecture, Dr. Ragosta discusses the natural history of the disease, typical clinical and hemodynamic findings, and cath lab management of patients with aortic stenosis. The lecture covers uses of the Gorlin formula, techniques in the cardiac cath lab, and assessment for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).

In this course, you will learn:

  • To apply the natural history of aortic stenosis to medical decisions in the clinic and cath lab.
  • To describe the uses and limitations of the Gorlin formula and other measurements made in the cardiac cath lab.
